Gracewood Gives

We have a few exciting opportunities to get involved in local and global missions this holiday season through Gracewood Gives. Please help us be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and the world by participating in one or more of the options below.

Food for the Holidays

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox

Star Christmas & Elderly White Christmas

We are excited to continue this ministry in partnership with Russell County Schools this year! Pick up a Gracewood bag and shopping list on Sunday at the Gracewood Gives table and bring the bag back  filled with Food for the Holidays by Sunday, December 13th. You can also check out the list below, and schedule a drop off anytime before December 13th if you need to take extra precautions socially distancing.
Through Samaritan’s Purse outreach, the Good News of Jesus Christ is shared with millions of children in more than 100 countries each year.  Children will receive gift-filled shoeboxes (packed by individuals) and hear about the true meaning of Christmas! Gracewood was able to donate 33 gift boxes because of your generosity! (Deadline passed)
We had a special outreach coordinated by the SWVA Star Project and Russell County Social Services in which children and elderly men and women will receive much needed items and wish list gifts. Thank you to those who signed up to participate in this ministry. Thirty star children and 12 elderly adults were sponsored this year! (Deadline passed)

Crosspoint International Ministries

Crosspoint International Ministries, with whom we work at our partner church in Honduras (Philadelphia Baptist Church), is accepting donations to put towards food and other necessities for victims of the twin hurricanes that hit Honduras and Nicaragua in November 2020. A donation of $30 will feed a family for 10 days. If you would like to be a part of helping our brothers and sisters in Central America, please fill out the form below to donate, and Crosspoint will use our gifts to support those in need. Thank you!
