We are excited to be continuing our partnership with Iglesia Bautista Getsemane (Gethsemane Baptist Church) in Yoro, Honduras this summer from June 21 through June 28. We are taking a team of 13 from Gracewood and would like to give you an opportunity to partner with us on this trip. There are several ways you can support us, each of which are listed below. Give financially...
We know that not everyone can go on a trip, for various reasons. However, you can play a significant role in enabling someone else to do so. Please consider donating a financial gift to help a team member go. The cost, per person, is $2062. Any amount ($20, $50, $100 or more) will greatly help as each team member must raise their own support or rely on the support given from fundraisers. Pray...
We realized that going and giving may not be an option, but we encourage everyone to join us in prayer as we prepare for this trip. Some prayer points are listed below to help you know what to pray for:
- Pray for the hearts of those who are going; for God to prepare us to be faithful stewards of the things He is calling us to do while in Honduras.
- Ask the Lord to provide physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially for each team member.
- Lift the team up in prayer: pray for safe travels, for team unity, for team health and team effectiveness.
- Pray for those in Honduras: for the local mission church we are partnered with (Iglesia Bautista Getsemane).
- Pray for those in Honduras who feel hopeless, lost and who are hurting. They need an encounter with Jesus. Pray that the Lord will use us to bring Jesus to them.
